The Toscana Leather Pen Case is sophisticatedly crafted from natural nubuck leather from Valdarno in Italy. Nubuck leather has a similarly velvety, grained texture to suede, but comes with a better durability. The Toscana Leather series is vegetable-tanned and coated in tallow, bringing you an elegant stationery case that lasts a lifetime.  Because each case is individually crafted from organic leather, no two pouches are the same. There will be individual differences in the color, thickness, and texture of the leather. About The Superior Labor: Founded by former auto mechanic and leather artisan Makoto Kawai, this lifestyle brand crafts a variety of high-quality everyday tools that promote slow and intentional living. Kawai considers The Superior Labor as a natural extension of his experience working with cars, crafting leather goods, traveling, and curating vintage wares. All of The Superior Labor’s design and manufacturing takes place in a former elementary school campus in the rural and mountainous area of Kaga-gun, Okayama Prefecture, where Kawai lives and works.
